OLIVE OIL TASTINGS FOR CHILDREN IN CRETE

We are pleased to announce that CAACTUS CARE will again be part of the summer activity program at Koronekes Olive Oil Mill in Archanes near Heraklion in Crete. While parents participate in adult activities, children enjoy their very own cultural journey of olive tasting followed by a sensory play activity under the olive trees. DISCOVER CRETE WITH ALL YOUR SENSES

“Discover Crete with all your senses” is an interactive and educational workshop for children during their summer holidays in Crete. Our goal is to create an engaging and fun place where children can learn about Cretan culture and products through active sensory stimulation. The first part of the workshop includes a short tour of the olive mill, where children learn about traditional olive oil production, followed by an olive oil tasting. Kids will smell and taste different olive oils and flavors. In the second part we use the olive oil and herbs/dried flowers to make our own natural scented play dough. A holistic holiday experience that you should not miss!
