FAYE’S PINK FAIRYTALE BAPTISM CELEBRATION IN RETHYMNO
When wedding planners plan their own event, the result is nothing short of magical. This baptism celebration was planned by one of our favorite planners in Crete, Caroline and Annika, also known as Weddings by Moments. We are united not only by our German background, but also by our love of planning down to the last detail. Their expertise in the destination wedding business and their knowledge of which vendors to combine for your special day is priceless. This was truly a wonderful baptism celebration. From the colors to the vendors, everything was chosen with the greatest care. Even before we drove to the venue, a treehouse apartment with an area for small to medium sized events called Stolidi Mou near Rethymno, we knew it was going to be a blast.
For the children's area, we set up our all-white bouncy castle that fits perfectly into the concept and scenery and our small dining tables with tableware and the cutest cupcakes by SugMar from Rethymno. Later we turned the dining tables into craft tables for our most popular activity called Photo Box (which also includes a photo backdrop, a Polaroid shoot and a craft project where children design their own cardboard frame to take home as a souvenir). For even more fun, we set up our teepee tents, which provide cozy moments if needed, a candy bar for those with a sweet tooth and of course various activities to keep the little guests busy. Because aesthetics are important to us and we like things to be pretty, we designed a range of bespoke decorations to match the color palette and event theme. From garlands to table decoration, everything is handmade and the materials are carefully selected. We prefer environmentally friendly materials such as paper. Signed by Stavroula took care of all the signage and the team of Oniranthi created the most mesmerizing floral arrangements.
Another beautiful feature that added a special touch to this event was the string lights that hung over the adult dining tables throughout the event area. It was none other than the Festive Events team from Heraklion who did a great job with lights and sound. Speaking of special details: Victoria or else Kiria Balonaki, a balloon artist from Hersonissos, really knows her business. Being one of the most talented in Greece, she added so much glamour to the event that she was absolutely irreplaceable. Same goes for Menios and his Sparkling Van, which serves adults the most delicious Aperol Spritz. Our statement after this event: Style and vibes were outstanding!
